Ordered about 2 months ago a few yards of white and yellow for fursuits. Finally got to work on it, and as I had already tried the longer piles 2-2.5 and beaver at .5 inch I had very high hopes for this. Really sad to say the fur texture did not come even close to my expectations. It has an almost scratchy feel, especially to the face. I asked my roommate and she confirmed it wasnt just me. Even after washing, it felt the same. Id stick to piles of longer or shorter if feel is what you are looking for because this specific pile length does not feel good. Id love to talk to someone to remedy this if possible

I ordered some samples of this new line, and it's fantastic! It is very very soft and the purple color I chose is beautiful and very bright! I like the density, it looks like it will shave down to shorter lengths well

Very dense fur pile, shaves super clean, consistent quality. Has a nice shine.

This fur is thick and shave-able like the fur from BigZ's more furry adjacent competitor, but feels super soft! If you need a fur that's can be shaved down for fursuit faces and fingers, but don't like the stiffer, wiry fur texture of other sellers; short shag teddy is what you want
