Giving Back: Big Z Fabric Supports Local Blanket Donation Project

At Big Z Fabric, we believe fabric is more than just material,  it’s a way to bring comfort, warmth, and care to the community.

We’re proud to share that we donated over 150 yards of fleece fabric to support a local community project led by Rebecca Gaetz, who partnered with the non-profit organization Sleep in Heavenly Peace. This initiative focuses on providing children in need with not only beds, but also warm, handmade blankets to help them stay comfortable during the cold winter months.

Thanks to the dedication of volunteers and donated materials, dozens of blankets were created for families in the Chippewa Valley. The project also found creative ways to reduce waste by repurposing fabric scraps into dog toys for local shelters, a beautiful example of community-driven sustainability.

We’re honored that our fleece fabric played a small role in helping make this project possible.
