What colors does the fabric come in?

What is the width of the fabric?

The width of the fabric refers to how wide the material is from one side to the other. This measurement is usually listed in inches on the product page and helps customers estimate how much fabric they need for their project. Fabric width can vary depending on the type of Fabric, so it is always a good idea to check the product details before ordering.

Performance & Material Questions

Is the fabric flame proof?

Not every fabric at Big Z Fabric is flame proof, so customers should always review the product details before purchasing. Some vinyl lines are designed for more demanding upholstery and performance applications. When flame resistance is important for a project, the safest approach is to confirm that feature directly on the product page before ordering.

Is the vinyl food safe?

Not all vinyl materials are suitable for contact with food. At this time, we cannot guarantee that a vinyl is food safe unless specific testing has been carried out. For that reason, contact with food is not recommended.

Is the color in the photo accurate?

Product photos are intended to represent the fabric as accurately as possible, but slight color differences may still happen. Screen settings, lighting, and device displays can affect how a color appears online. For customers who need the closest possible match, ordering a sample is often the best option.

Restocks & Availability Questions

When will this fabric be back in stock?

Many of our fabric lines are restocked routinely, especially collections we manufacture ourselves. This includes lines such as DuroLast®, AquaGuard, Hug-Z, and EcoShag. Exact timing can vary depending on production and inventory flow, but many core lines do return. We are also working on a feature that will allow customers to sign up for restock announcements.

Is this fabric reorder-able?

In many cases, yes. A large number of our store lines are reorder-able, especially those that are part of regularly manufactured collections. Availability can still depend on the specific style, demand, and production schedule.

Will you add more colors in the future?

Yes. Expanding color options is always something we continue to explore. Customer interest plays an important role in helping us decide which colors and collections to expand.

Will this specific color return soon?

Specific color returns can depend on demand, production planning, and the fabric line itself. Some shades may return as part of a routine restock, while others may take longer. Customers are always encouraged to stay connected and share interest in specific colors and styles.

Ordering Quantities

Is the quantity equal to yards?

Yes. Our fabrics are sold by the yard, and the quantity selected on the product page corresponds to the number of yards ordered. For example, a quantity of 1 equals 1 yard, while a quantity of 2 equals 2 yards.

Will multiple yards arrive as one continuous cut?

Yes. When multiple yards of the same fabric are ordered, they are typically cut as one continuous piece. For example, ordering 3 yards usually means receiving one continuous 3-yard cut.

Can I order half yards?

It depends on the product. Not all items are currently available in half-yard increments, but we are working to expand those options across more collections.

Can I buy fabric by the yard instead of a roll?

Yes. Buying fabric by the yard is a practical option for smaller projects, testing materials, or ordering only what is needed without committing to a full roll.
