Microfiber Suede Upholstery Fabric / Passion Suede Microsuede

Paid $25 for a card of swatches and paid for 2 yards of Fabric and shipping. Most companies send swatches at no charge or only charge for shipping. The microsuede ravels so it’s useless. I called and told them this so the best they could do is refund the 2 yards of fabric (not the swatches) and it would cost me more for shipping than to just keep what I don’t need. On the phone they claim the microsuede shouldn’t fray, I even sent pictures.. not the company I want to deal with.

The only thing that would be nifty is if the color card started coming in separate sheets.
The one I received came with swatches on two sides of one piece of cardstock, so you can’t hang it up to compare colors. It also means you can’t cut out each square to line them up on one sheet to see them together as a fix either, since they’re sadly glued on both sides.

I haven’t used this fabric yet, but the color is very rich and hand is smooth. I especially like the quality for the price.

haven’t had a chance to fully work with the fabric yet. It was slightly thinner than expected, but this is working in my favor as I prep all the piping. I’ve never thought of microsuede as a draping fabric, but I bet you could get some nice fixed pleats in this and I’ll definitely keep in mind for future projects. It’s got more of a sheen than expected from previous microsuedes I’ve worked with, but for this upholstery project it will work well.
