Big Z fabric is proud to introduce our new and unique Neoprene Scuba Techno Athletic Double Knit All-purpose Fabric to our fine line of fabric. Techno fabrics are sophisticated high-tech fabrics made of synthetic yarns or fabrics with dips which acts technical, cool and artificial. To begin with, this elegant fabric is made of 96% polyester with 6% spandex material allowing the textile to have a slight stretch. Along with the contents of this illustrious fabric, the product has a solid pattern with a base color that also matches the back end of the fabric (except the fuchsia and heather gray colors). This intriguing techno fabric comes in various colors and has a width of 58" inches suitable for athletic activewear, leggings, clothing and much more. This fabric is sold and shipped only by the yard and in continuous yards.

Washing Tips

  • Hand wash is recommended using cold water to maintain the integrity of both the neoprene and the double knit structure.
  • Use a mild detergent—ideally one formulated for delicate or technical fabrics—and avoid bleach or fabric softeners.
  • If machine washing is necessary, use a gentle cycle and place the fabric in a mesh laundry bag to reduce friction.
  • Avoid wringing or twisting the fabric; instead, gently press out excess water.

Drying Tips

  • Lay flat to dry on a clean, absorbent surface in a shaded, well-ventilated area.
  • Avoid tumble drying, as the heat and agitation can distort the fabric’s structure.
  • If hanging, use a padded hanger or lay the fabric flat to prevent stretching or creasing.

Temperature Tips

  • Always use cold water during washing to protect the neoprene and knit fibers.
  • Avoid high heat in both washing and drying—excessive heat can damage the material and reduce its elasticity.

Good fabric, not the right color.

Okay so, the quality of the fabric is here. It’s spongy and thick but nice and flexible and breathable. But do NOT trust the colors they have listed here. Idk what they did to the photo, but this “teal” is not teal :[ even in good lighting/sunlight it’s too dark. It is not at all what the color in the picture is. It’s genuinely like they put all blue and NO green into the dye mix, absolutely heartbreaking. The fabric I received is much more blue in person, but it is JUST blue, very little green tone if any at all.

The quality is amazing! Stretchy, thick, cool to the touch, it's great! But the color was significantly lighter than advertised on the website. I didn't read the reviews before hand and was fairly disappointing. Get a swatch first!
