What is Twill Fabric by the Yard?

Twill is a strong, thick fabric which is perfect for pants, jeans, and jackets. Because of floats twills have fewer interlacing per square inch than plain weaves. This results in fabric that is more compact, has a higher density and thread count and is generally stronger overall.
