I’ve always loved the knit back beaver line from here because it was always dense and very high quality! I recently ordered three yards of it and it’s completely different from how it was just a couple of months ago. It’s 1/8” short of 1/2”, lacks the original density, and has a shine to it unlike the original. Due to the lack of density it doesn’t shave down cleanly like the original, and it looks choppy even when brushed.
We’re genuinely sorry to hear this, especially coming from someone who has trusted this line for its consistency and quality. Your observations about the density, pile height, and finish are important to us and not something we take lightly.

Perfect, color matches almost 1:1 just the color i was looking for
I got this earlier last week, only just now was able to open up the box. I unfold my fabric to find that there is just a giant hole in my order. So on top of balding long shag furs, you also get big holes in your wholesale fabric. Very cool!

I bought this since I was running out of the black beaver fur I'd bought at another retailer that specializes in faux fur. I was really pleased at how much nicer this is! It's softer and the fur is much more dense, with a solid backing that will hold up well to sewing.

beautiful fur, beaver length is super soft and pretty and works well for costumes , fur shaves amazing !
In my photos below you can see my pure white fabric against this "white" fur. They assured me they did not send the wrong color. So please make sure this is the color you want!
